year end, make up week, summer lessons

As we head into June, I wanted to send a quick reminder about how this month fits into our academic-year schedule and give you a heads-up about summer planning.

🎻 June Lessons & Make-Up Week

June is part of the regular academic calendar. Tuition covers three weeks of private lessons, followed by a make-up week (June 24–28).

During make-up week, students will keep their usual lesson time. This week serves different purposes depending on attendance:

  • If your student had perfect attendance this year, this week is a bonus lesson, free of charge.

  • If your student missed one lesson, this week functions as a make-up for that absence.

  • If your student missed more than one lesson, this week helps offset—but does not fully replace—those missed sessions.

This approach allows me to offer flexibility while keeping the calendar sustainable for everyone. There are no additional make-ups or rescheduling beyond this week.

💵 Tuition Reminder

Just a quick note that monthly tuition is averaged across the academic year (September–June) and remains the same each month regardless of how many lessons fall in that particular month. Your tuition reserves your weekly time slot, even if you’re away.

☀️ Summer Lessons (July–August)

Summer lessons are offered à la carte and are not part of the academic-year tuition. Scheduling is based on mutual availability, and I’ll send out a summer scheduling form in mid-June. Slots will be first-come, first-served.
