How do I cancel a lesson?
Using the Google calendar, you can cancel a lesson if you need to. Click on your appointment, then click on "cancel appointment" or the trash can. Make sure you only cancel the single lesson you wish to cancel, not all future lessons.
How do I try to reschedule for a different day/time?
Cancellation does not guarantee that you will be able to reschedule, but you can try! My policy does not allow for make-up lessons, so please do not expect to be able to recover missed lesson time. However, if there happens to be time available during any given week, I am happy to give it to you.
Use this link to see if there is an open spot in my schedule for that week (spots will open up if someone else has canceled): https://calendar.app.google/GQNvdhKN7X34na5T7 If there is an open spot that will work for you, book it! You must do this at least 72 hours in advance.
But there's nothing available during a time that I want. Help!
If nothing is available on the calendar that will work for you, contact me by email. I can always let you know if I get a last-minute cancellation, and can then offer it to you. If there is still no option for that week, we will make that lesson up during make-up week at the end of June.
MAKE-UP WEEK
Your weekly lesson time is reserved and not recoverable if a lesson is missed. Students and caregivers are expected to arrange their weekly schedules accordingly. If a lesson needs to be cancelled because of an illness or emergency, it can be made up during "make-up week" at the end of June at no extra cost to the student.
There is no charge for this make-up week; if you do not cancel any lessons, this week will be a free lesson for you. No more than one lesson per year will be offered as a make-up lesson.
Lessons
missed due to teacher cancellation will be made up at the mutual convenience of
teacher and student. If the teacher cancels more than one lesson in a
term, anything after and including the second cancelled lesson will be credited.
