If any kids want to take Lucy out of her crate while I'm teaching, there MUST be an adult closely observing at all times. She is not 100% housebroken yet, and also needs to be watched to make sure she doesn't chew on anything other than her toys.
If you decide to take Lucy out into the backyard, great! Just please keep an eye on her. She hasn't tried to squeeze or dig under the fence, but she might. The yard is also not yet 100% puppyproofed, so she needs to be watched to make sure she doesn't try to eat something strange.
Kids who are playing with Lucy need to understand that:
- Puppies are not allowed to chew on people
- Puppies are only allowed to eat puppy food
- Puppies are not allowed to jump on people
- Kids are welcome to help teach Lucy "sit" and "come" and may reward her with kibble if they'd like to.
